👤 About Me
Thanks for visiting my page! I’m Justin Wood, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, an ACE Sports Performance Specialist, and CPR/First Aid Certified.
My own fitness journey began at 15, when — like many teenagers — I didn’t feel entirely comfortable in my own skin. Searching for confidence, I stumbled into weight training. At the time, my "home gym" was just a single 25 lb. dumbbell and a handful of issues of Men’s Health. Through bicep curls, pushups, and one-arm rows (very little leg training — I admit it), I saw just enough progress to get hooked.
Things really changed when I enrolled in a structured Strength Building class at school. With proper programming and equipment, not only did my body transform — my confidence did too. Lifting weights helped bring a shy kid out of his shell, and I’ve carried that lesson with me ever since.
Over the years, I’ve studied and tested a wide range of training methods — some great, some overrated — but I’ve learned there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why I offer both affordable pre-written plans and custom coaching, so people can find what works for their body and lifestyle.
